Mind the Gap is an inclusive music group for people with mental and physical health issues in Norwich. We provide a friendly, safe environment to socialise with fellow musicians, play music, form bands, improve skills on guitar, bass, drums, songwriting, vocals and performance.
We support new ideas and positively promote improved wellbeing through participation in music and creative processes.
We are pleased to announce that we will be starting weekly sessions on October 19th. We would like to thank The Big Lottery Fund and Norfolk Community Foundation for funding us, also everyone who has supported us through this first year.
Its World Mental Health Day. I will be on Radio Norfolk at 2:30 today talking about mental health awareness and my calendar, Disconnect and Reconnect, which is now available to buy.
Look Up!!… take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty around you
Speak Out… speak openly about you’re mental health, the silence and stigma is killing people daily.
Calendars are £10.00 plus £2.00 p&p. Availabe from Norwich Arts Centre Foyer (open 1 til 5), Jarrolds, and Starlings in Dereham, Sheringham and Holt or Sue directly.
All profits to keep Mind The Gap up and running and continuing to help people in our community through music.
