1549 Ketts Rebellion
In Co production with The Common Lot, Mind The Gap will be performing free in parks around the City this Summer.
In 1549 people found themselves starving and destitute as their common land was being enclosed by rich landowners for profit. Led by Wymondham man Robert Ketts, over 4,000 men and women took control of Norwich City and called for the King to hear their plight.
The play is humorous but moving, telling the story of what happened to those men and women in the six summer weeks of 1549.
